Minutor is a desktop application for viewing and analyzing local Minecraft world data. It is aimed at Minecraft players, mod users, and world builders who want an offline map viewer rather than an online world-management tool. The application runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and supports 2D maps with lighting, cave, depth, biome, and sea-ground rendering modes. It also supports dimension maps, making it useful for examining different parts of a world from a local desktop workflow.

Its strongest area is inspection. Minutor can display entity overlays with category and mob-type indicators, add structure and mod overlays, and search for blocks or entities. Block statistics, CSV export, and PNG map export extend the tool beyond basic terrain viewing. Custom blocks, colors, and names can be defined through packs, which gives mod users and world builders a way to adapt the display to their content. The main constraint is single-layer rendering, so users who need broader or more layered map presentation may prefer another viewer.

Minutor is open source and free, with downloadable releases and source code for all three supported desktop platforms. That makes it a practical choice for users who want local analysis without a paid plan. Its workflow centers on local world files, however, so it is less suited to teams or server operators who need live refresh, server connections, or user-created waypoints. Choose Minutor for offline inspection, search, overlays, and exports; choose an alternative if multiplayer monitoring or richer map-layer workflows are central to the job.
