Minuted is a local-first meeting notes application for Windows and Android, aimed at solo users and small teams who want recordings turned into searchable notes and follow-up tasks. It records meetings, transcribes audio on-device, separates and names speakers, and generates summaries, decisions, and actions from transcripts and typed notes. Reusable templates cover 1:1s, standups, customer calls, interviews, and retrospectives. Recordings remain on the device where they were made, while text can sync across devices.
The free plan includes unlimited local transcription and write-ups, 300 cloud minutes per month, recording, notes, search, export, click-to-play transcripts, and the ability to ask questions across the library. Pro costs £10 monthly or £110 yearly and raises the cloud allowance to 2,000 minutes, adds Google and Outlook calendar integration, and enables two-way task sync with Todoist and monday.com. Ultimate costs £20 monthly or £220 yearly, includes Pro, raises cloud processing to 6,000 minutes, and adds questions across the whole library and priority on new platform features. Local transcription and write-ups remain unlimited on each plan; cloud processing is the metered element.
The key trade-off is platform and data posture. Windows and Android coverage keeps the product suited to users already working on those platforms, but it will not fit teams needing other desktop or mobile platforms. The vendor states Minuted has no SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA certification, a relevant consideration for organizations with those compliance requirements. Email is the listed support channel. Choose Minuted if on-device transcription, reusable templates, and connected task follow-up suit your workflow; look elsewhere if broader platform coverage or one of those certifications is required.
