miniOrange Multi-Factor Authentication protects access across cloud, custom, and legacy applications, VPNs, network devices, virtual desktop infrastructure, and desktop operating systems. It suits organizations managing mixed environments across web, Windows, macOS, Linux, and API-based access. Deployment supports cloud and on-premises options, recorded here as hybrid, while integrations use SAML, RADIUS, OpenID, JWT, pre-built connectors, and no-code integrations.

Pricing starts with the Essential plan at $2 per user per month, billed monthly. It includes MFA for VPN and VDI, desktop MFA for Windows, Linux, and Mac, basic IP-based conditional access, and real-time authentication and usage reporting. Premium costs $3 per user per month and adds passwordless MFA with FIDO2 and WebAuthn, advanced adaptive authentication, an AAA/TACACS+ server, and SCIM provisioning. The Enterprise IAM Suite adds legacy and thick-client application integrations, access request and approval workflows, role-based application access, and HR-driven and API provisioning. A 30-day free trial is available.

Its main strength is breadth: administrators can combine authenticator apps, push notifications, OTPs, hardware tokens, biometrics, FIDO2, security questions, and other verification methods. Adaptive policies can use IP, device, location, and time, while agentless or agent-based controls support device restrictions. Coverage extends to Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWall, OpenVPN, Citrix, Oracle EBS, SAP, QlikView, and PeopleSoft, with audit logs, reports, endpoint monitoring, and fallback authentication. Organizations with legacy systems, VPN or VDI requirements, and varied authentication needs should consider it; smaller teams seeking a simpler MFA deployment may prefer a narrower tool.
