Our verdict on MeTubez

MeTubez is a mobile video-sharing platform for creators and viewers who prefer landscape-format video and a horizontal scrolling feed. Available on iOS and Android, it supports uploads, public viewing as a guest, short MeShorts clips up to 30 seconds, and longer videos. Its focus on Indian-language content and language-based discovery makes it relevant to creators seeking an audience around that content, as well as viewers looking for videos by language. It is less suited to people who need a desktop or web workflow, livestreaming, or channel memberships.

Discovery and social features shape the viewing experience. The feed is personalized from likes, watch activity, and engagement history; viewers can also find videos by language preference. Comments, likes, shares, saves, downloads, follows, subscriptions, and playlists give viewers ways to interact and organize content. This combination supports more than passive viewing, while the product remains centered on video sharing rather than live broadcasts. Creators looking for audience-building tools may value these features, but anyone whose format depends on livestreaming should look elsewhere.

The creator program is the main commercial consideration. Its published description refers to per-view rates and tier progression, and it describes pre-roll and mid-roll advertising on longer videos. However, the official terms state that user-content monetization and subscriptions are not supported as of October 1, 2026. That tension makes the earnings offer worth reviewing carefully before treating it as a dependable revenue channel. MeTubez is free to download and offers a free way to watch and publish on mobile, but creators prioritizing clearly settled monetization terms should compare alternatives. It is a better fit for mobile-first creators focused on sharing videos and building an audience than for those seeking established live or membership formats.
