Meteoblue Weather API review
A data-rich weather API for developers, not a conventional Android weather app.

Meteoblue Weather API delivers location-specific forecasts and other weather datasets through HTTP APIs. It is aimed at developers, businesses, researchers and educational projects that need to integrate weather data into digital services; it is not a consumer-facing Android weather app. Forecasts are available as JSON or CSV, with packages extending to 14 days. The API also covers observations, maps, satellite and radar imagery, and official warnings across more than 100 countries.
Its breadth is the main reason to consider it for an integration: the offering combines current forecasts with historical time series from 1940 onward, weather-station measurements and visual data. A machine-learning forecast processing option is also included. The range may suit applications in areas such as energy, agriculture, transport, finance and digital platforms. Teams looking only to check the weather on an Android phone should choose an app designed for that purpose instead.
The published plans show several access models. Free API includes 10 million credits for one year and JSON or CSV forecasts. Prepaid API uses pay-as-you-go credits, with 5,000–60,000 API calls shown in the comparison and credits valid for one year. Enterprise Plans start at €100 per month, with customisable calls and volume discounts. Premium Weather API is listed separately at €2,400 per year and includes forecasts, historical data and visualisations, with a 40,000 API calls/month option and Bronze Support required. These options make the service more relevant to teams planning an API integration than to individual Android users.
