metasfresh is an open-source ERP system for medium-sized companies, with a particular focus on wholesale, food manufacturing and related supply-chain operations. It connects planning, procurement, production, warehousing, distribution, invoicing and traceability in one system. Finance, inventory, order management, manufacturing execution, reporting, multi-site operations and intercompany processes are all covered, making it suited to organizations managing more than one operational area.
Pricing is divided between user fees and cloud hosting. User-Fee — monthly payment costs €99 per user per month, while User-Fee — annual prepayment costs €79 per user per month. Both include product updates, support, role assignment, and integration and configuration options. Cloud hosting costs €299 per month with monthly payment or €249 per month with annual prepayment. These hosting plans include German data centers, a dedicated server, real-time backups and support. A minimum user quantity applies for the first 12 months, and prices exclude statutory VAT.
Its platform and ecosystem fit are broad. metasfresh supports web and self-hosted deployment, with an alternative on-premise deployment model documented by the vendor. Integrations include DATEV, SEPA, EDI, REST API, Excel, CSV, Amazon, Shopware, WooCommerce and Shopify, alongside payment, procurement and commerce connections. Production planning, warehouse-location management, fixed-asset accounting, operational analytics and traceability give it useful depth for supply-chain businesses. Choose metasfresh when open-source control and integrated manufacturing or wholesale workflows matter; organizations needing only a narrow accounting, inventory or scheduling tool may prefer a more focused alternative.
