Our verdict on MenuStern
MenuStern is a cloud platform for restaurants, cafes, bars and other hospitality businesses that need a website and digital menu in one system. It combines menu editing, QR-code menus, online ordering, table reservations, payments, multilingual content, CRM and marketing tools. Restaurants can manage dishes, prices, images, allergens, descriptions and opening hours centrally, then publish on a MenuStern subdomain or use a custom domain on paid plans. Hosting is provided in Germany with SSL and tiered storage.
The free plan supports a MenuStern subdomain website or digital menu, monthly menu import, content pages, a menu QR code, manual translations and 1 GB hosting. Basic costs €34 per month or €348 per year and adds an own-domain website, AI menu import, automatic translation into up to two languages, table QR codes, an add-on library and 5 GB hosting. Standard is €69 monthly or €708 annually, adding a mobile app, up to five-language automatic translation, CRM, table reservations, delivery and pickup, and contactless QR table ordering. Premium costs €115 monthly and adds a premium design template, video blocks, translation into up to 15 languages, Google Maps presence, social marketing, POS integrations and an Open API. A 14-day free period is also available, and prices are net plus 19% VAT.
Its strongest fit is a small or mid-market restaurant seeking native digital ordering and reservations rather than assembling separate services. Payment support includes Apple Pay, Google Pay, cards and QR payments, while integrations cover POS terminals, WOLT, Glovo and Bolt. The mobile app extends management to menus, orders, reservations and operating hours. Restaurants needing only a simple custom-domain site may find the higher tiers broader than necessary, while teams requiring automatic translation, delivery or reservations must move beyond Free. GDPR alignment, German hosting, email, phone and documentation support round out the platform.
