Memobase review
Low-cost hosted memory with search, graphs and context reconstruction.

Memobase is a managed cloud memory vault for AI agents, available through a web dashboard and API-compatible endpoints. It stores durable memories, supports semantic vector and BM25 keyword search, builds a knowledge graph of entities and relationships, consolidates and deduplicates memories, and reconstructs project or session context. Its MCP-native connection and integrations with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Le Chat suit solo users and small or mid-market teams that want one memory layer across assistants.
The published plans use a freemium structure. Free costs $0 forever and includes 500 credits per month, semantic vector search, per-user memory isolation and community support. Pro costs $9 per month, raises the allowance to 5,000 credits, and adds a monthly usage dashboard, email support and priority response. Unlimited costs $29 per month and includes unlimited credits, dedicated support, an available SLA and custom onboarding. Import and export of memory data are part of the product feature set, while the plan descriptions distinguish support and usage capacity by tier.
Memobase’s main technical breadth comes from combining retrieval, graph memory and automation: HTTP hooks can capture context automatically, while consolidation and context reconstruction aim to keep project or session history usable. The product can share one vault across assistants and import conversation history, which fits workflows spanning several coding or conversational tools. It is cloud-hosted, with indefinite retention described in its category specifications; self-custody is on the roadmap rather than an available deployment option. Choose Memobase when hosted, cross-assistant memory and a $9 entry tier match your needs; teams requiring self-custody today should consider an alternative.
