Melp review
A flexible franchise workspace for communication, meetings, files, and approvals.

Melp is a cloud collaboration workspace for teams, partners, vendors, clients, and franchise networks. It brings together messaging, voice and video meetings, shared workspaces, scheduling, document and file storage, collaborative documents, and AI features. Restaurant franchise teams can use unit workspaces for operating manuals, training records, field visits, launch activity, marketing coordination, and approvals. It is suited to organizations that need a shared communication layer across franchisors and franchisees rather than a dedicated restaurant operations system.
Pricing is structured around a free plan and three paid tiers. Standard costs $14 per user per month when billed annually and supports up to 100 users, 250 GB of secure storage, meetings for up to 200 participants, AI meeting summaries, live captions, and real-time chat translation. Premium costs $20 per user per month when billed annually, raising capacity to 500 users and 500 GB of storage while adding meetings for up to 500 participants, unlimited meetings and event scheduling, priority support, and document summaries. Enterprise adds unlimited team collaboration, 1 TB of enterprise-grade storage, unlimited large-scale meetings, unlimited AI capabilities, unlimited meeting recordings, and dedicated enterprise support.
Its strongest fit is cross-organizational coordination: teams can combine chats, topics, groups, meetings, transcripts, action items, translations, version history, calendar synchronization, availability management, and booking links in one workspace. Franchise unit spaces give the product a practical structure for distributing documents and coordinating recurring collaboration. Web, iOS, and Android support broadens access, while Google Calendar and Microsoft Office 365 integrations support common scheduling and productivity workflows. Melp should not be the sole choice for restaurant networks that need verified royalty workflows, audits, operational checklists, dashboards, restaurant POS connections, workforce tools, or reporting exports. Those needs call for a more specialized platform alongside, or instead of, a collaboration workspace.
