MeetIT is a local-first meeting memory application for individuals and small teams. It records microphone and system audio, transcribes meetings on the device with Whisper, and drafts structured minutes covering summaries, decisions and action items. Users can search transcripts and meeting history, assign task owners across meetings, capture screenshots of presented content, and export minutes to Word. The desktop application runs offline on Windows and macOS, with optional cloud synchronization and hosted AI features.
Pricing is centered on one-time desktop licenses. The Student plan costs $69 one time and includes the full application, lectures, notes, quizzes, spaced repetition and one year of updates; student email verification is required. Personal costs $99 one time and adds unlimited meetings and lectures, activation on the buyer’s own devices, and one year of updates. Founder costs $299 one time, includes everything in Personal, and adds lifetime updates, founding-supporter status and early-access pricing. A 14-day trial is available, limited to 10 meetings or 14 days. Cloud costs $15 per month for encrypted device sync, hosted AI, the latest version and cancellation at any time.
The product’s strongest fit is for people who want meeting records to stay local while still gaining searchable transcripts, tracked actions and a knowledge graph linking people, topics and decisions. Its feature set reaches beyond basic transcription into structured follow-up and connected meeting history, while smart screenshots and Word export support documentation workflows. However, MeetIT has no integrations, so teams that need meeting notes to flow into other workplace tools should choose an alternative. Buyers should also distinguish the offline desktop application from the optional Cloud plan: local recording and transcription are central, while cross-device sync and hosted AI are paid separately.
