MediaOS is a cloud publishing platform for magazines, newspapers and other media organizations. Its Editorial Workspace brings together story planning, flat-plan views, assignments, writing, review, approvals and publishing. Teams can manage due dates and pay rates, assign work to freelancers, collect story-level feedback, and maintain a version timeline with comparison and restoration. Publishing supports connected WordPress sites, social posts and newsletter copy, while SEO and social metadata fields support channel-specific preparation.

The product’s strongest fit is an editorial operation that needs production and distribution in the same workspace. Rich-text editing includes headline and subhead fields, and the workflow covers draft, submission, review and approval stages. Anchored comments provide context for feedback, while restricted freelancer workspaces can separate external contributors from broader operations. Integrations include WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Stripe, Zapier, Facebook, Google Suite, HubSpot, Authorize.Net and a REST API. Web and API access support a connected publishing environment, although teams should assess how closely their existing stack matches these integrations.

MediaOS is sold through paid, modular plans. The Content & Editorial User plan covers core planning, assignments and freelancer work. CRM & Ad Ops adds a contract-to-cash workflow, QuickBooks Online sync and the LINO AI Assistant. Website CMS includes SEO tools, managed hosting and SSL, mobile-optimized infrastructure, and native SSO integration. There is no free plan or trial. MediaOS suits publishers that need editorial workflow depth alongside websites, audience, advertising and billing operations. Smaller teams seeking a simple calendar, or organizations outside publishing, may find its broader structure less appropriate.
