MAUSAM review
A free Android app for observed weather, forecasts, radar and impending-event warnings.

MAUSAM is the India Meteorological Department’s official Android weather app, published by the Office of the Director General of Meteorology, Government of India. It brings observed weather, forecasts, radar images and warnings about impending weather events to mobile devices. It is aimed at Android users who want access to IMD weather products in an app, particularly those looking for a free source of general weather information and alerts.
The app’s scope is focused on the main tasks of checking current conditions, looking ahead with forecasts, viewing radar images and receiving warnings. That combination covers core needs for monitoring weather and impending events, while the listed feature set remains relatively spare. MAUSAM is a fit for users who want those functions without a paid plan; users seeking broader tools beyond the described weather information may prefer an alternative with a wider feature set.
MAUSAM is free, and its published offering includes observed weather, forecasts, radar images and impending-event warnings. Its platform is Android, so it is suited to people who want IMD weather products on an Android mobile device rather than access across multiple platforms. The app is published by a government meteorology office, and support channels include phone and email. Choose MAUSAM for free, focused access to forecasts, radar and warnings on Android; look elsewhere if your priority is a more extensive weather app experience.
