Our verdict on Mathsframe

Mathsframe is a web-based maths learning platform for children in Years 1 to 6 and the teachers who support them. It combines curriculum-linked interactive questions with more than 30 games and activities, covering arithmetic, multiplication, fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, statistics, money and time. Selected games are also available through iOS and Android apps, making it suited to elementary practice across web and mobile devices.

Its pricing is built around free access and annual licences. The Individual licence costs £10 per year and includes the games and activities for the Year 1 to Year 6 maths curriculum. The Class licence costs £30 per class per year, plus VAT, and adds a personal login for every child, differentiated task assignment, score monitoring and progress tracking. The £25-per-year Mathsframe + Spellingframe plan combines Mathsframe games and activities with Spellingframe and printable Mathsframe worksheets. The paid options are straightforward for families, teachers and classes, with the class plan focused on assigning and reviewing work.

Mathsframe’s main strength is breadth within curriculum practice: teachers can set tasks for pupils or groups, monitor scores and identify areas needing support, while learners get repeated practice through browser-based games and activities.
