Markdown Monster is a Windows desktop Markdown editor for developers, technical writers, bloggers, and documentation authors. It combines syntax-highlighted editing with synchronized HTML preview, inline spell checking, word counts, image embedding, clipboard image pasting, and interactive table editing. It also works with local files and supports HTML and PDF export, making it suited to people who want writing, documentation, and publishing tasks in one desktop application rather than a narrowly focused editor.

The pricing model is perpetual and version-based. The Evaluation plan provides a fully functional evaluation version. A Single User license costs $99 one time and includes a perpetual v4 license valid for multiple machines.
