ManageRent is a browser-based property management platform for UK landlords and property managers. It brings together property and ownership records, tenant and tenancy details, rent demands, payment tracking, expenses, documents, maintenance issues, compliance reminders and financial reporting. The secure web dashboard works through desktop, tablet or mobile browsers. Its tenant portal is designed for self-managed tenancies, allowing tenants to report maintenance issues, send payment notifications and communicate with landlords. It is best suited to landlords who want core management features at a low per-property cost.
Pricing is straightforward. The Monthly plan costs £4 per property per month and includes a 30-day free trial, property and tenant management, rent, expenses and reports, compliance document reminders, and secure web dashboard access. The Annual plan costs £30 per property per year and includes everything in Monthly, plus the tenant portal, document version history, portfolio and tax-year reporting, and automated professional notifications. The annual option therefore adds reporting, document and tenant communication capabilities alongside a lower stated annual price per property. Both plans are paid plans, with no free plan listed.
The feature set focuses on practical landlord administration rather than a wider software ecosystem. Property records can include ownership, utility, management and portfolio details, while tenancy records cover deposits, rent frequency and agreements. Maintenance tracking includes issue updates, statuses and repair history, and compliance reminders cover gas safety, EPC and electrical certificates. UK tax-year, quarterly and custom-date reports support financial administration. However, ManageRent is web-only, has no integrations and does not provide verified online payment collection. Choose it for focused, low-cost UK property management; consider an alternative if connected workflows, native mobile apps or confirmed online rent collection are priorities.
