M64Plus FZ Emulator is an Android front end for the Mupen64Plus Nintendo 64 emulator. It is aimed at Android users who want to run compatible Nintendo 64 games from locally stored ROM files, with emulator cores and plugins included. The feature set covers save and load states, GameShark cheat support, controller profiles, input remapping, selectable video plugins, and resolution scaling through GLideN64 profiles. The project is released as free software under the GNU General Public License.

The free edition provides Nintendo 64 emulation, included cores and plugins, local Wi-Fi multiplayer, and the main convenience features needed for game management. It contains ads, while the separately sold Pro edition removes ads and adds online netplay and online cloud backup. Local Wi-Fi multiplayer does not require UPnP, which keeps that multiplayer option distinct from the Pro online feature. Buyers choosing between the editions should focus on whether online play, cloud backup, or an ad-free experience matters to them.

M64Plus FZ Emulator’s main strength is breadth within Android N64 emulation rather than support across multiple platforms. Its combination of video-plugin choices, resolution scaling, controller configuration, cheats, save states, and multiplayer options gives it a wide configuration range for users who want to tune individual games and controls. It is a strong fit for Android users seeking these features in one emulator, especially those satisfied with local files and local multiplayer. Users who need a desktop or iOS version, or who want online netplay without upgrading, should choose an alternative that matches those requirements.
