Lyra review
A repository-aware AI writing workflow for SEO teams publishing through GitHub.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Lyra is an AI blog writer for founders, operators, marketing teams, SEO leads, developer advocates, and agencies. It discovers topics using live search data, drafts content from a connected repository's structure and voice, verifies claims and external links, scores and revises drafts, and opens labeled pull requests in GitHub. Users review and merge those pull requests; Lyra does not auto-publish. The workflow is aimed at teams managing content in GitHub rather than writers seeking a standalone editor.
The published plans scale by post volume and collaboration. Free includes three posts for one blog and the full pipeline from topic discovery to pull request, using the user's Anthropic key. Starter costs $39 per month for 15 posts, one seat, core analytics, and daily analytics refresh. Growth costs $149 per month for 50 posts, three seats, rank tracking, and parallel writing. Scale costs $399 per month for 150 posts, 10 seats, Analytics API export, and parallel writing for three posts. Anthropic and optional Gemini usage are billed separately through the user's accounts.
Its strongest fit is a GitHub-centered SEO operation: integrations include GitHub, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Google Search Console. SEO and backlink analytics, keyword tracking, weekly SEO Copilot reports, and recommended fixes extend the workflow beyond drafting. Optional Gemini support can generate hero banners, while claim verification and editorial scoring add review steps before a pull request is merged. Onboarding is invite-gated and requires a repository plus Claude credential, and the product runs on the web. Choose Lyra when repository-aware production and review matter; choose another tool if you need automatic publishing, broader platform coverage, or a workflow without GitHub.
