Lutheran Service Builder is web-based worship planning software for Lutheran congregations. It supports pastors, musicians, and secretaries with calendar-based service planning, lectionary readings, propers, hymn recommendations, service orders, custom notes, and worship resources. Churches can also create bulletins, presentations, service templates, and custom liturgical elements, with browser access from offices, homes, phones, and tablets.
Pricing is based on average weekly attendance and billed annually. For congregations with 1–199 weekly attendance, the first year is $500 and each year after is $250. The 200–399 tier is $650 for the first year and $400 each year after. The 400–699 tier is $800 initially and $525 each year after, while the 700+ tier is $950 initially and $700 each year after. A free trial is available before paid subscription access. This structure makes the renewal price notably lower than the first-year price in every listed attendance tier, but the product has no free plan.
