Lumio360 Planning is a cloud FP&A module for finance teams, CFOs, FP&A managers, and controllers. It connects budgeting and forecasting with Lumio360’s close and consolidation data, allowing actuals from closed periods to flow into forecasts. Its core scope covers annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, departmental workflows, version control, budget-versus-actuals analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation. It is suited to organisations that need planning tied closely to financial close rather than a standalone budgeting workspace.

Pricing is structured across three published plans, all billed monthly per slot. Foundation costs £249 and includes the Close and Consolidation modules for up to 3 entities. Professional costs £499 and adds AI inbox and anomaly detection, with support for up to 5 entities. Finance OS costs £749 and adds budgeting and rolling forecasts, metrics and treasury, and unlimited entities. The Planning module is included exclusively in Finance OS, making the £749 tier the relevant entry point for the full planning capability. Annual billing options are available, while annual prices are not published; a guided proof-of-concept is offered instead of a self-serve free trial.

The strongest fit is a finance team managing several entities and currencies that wants forecasting, scenario analysis, liquidity tracking, FX exposure monitoring, and consolidation in one connected environment. Finance OS also adds financial and operational metrics dashboards plus treasury capabilities, extending the product beyond basic budget-versus-actuals reporting. The trade-off is focus and cost: teams seeking only a lower-cost budgeting tool, a self-serve trial, or a non-web deployment should look elsewhere. Lumio360 Planning makes more sense when close, consolidation, and forward-looking planning need to operate together.
