LS Retail provides LS Central, a modular retail POS and business management platform for medium-sized and enterprise retailers. It brings together checkout, inventory tracking, replenishment, stock transfers, loyalty, ecommerce synchronization, analytics, staff management, self-checkout, and mobile self-scanning. The platform is designed for organizations operating across multiple cities, countries, stores, and sales channels, with support for web, Windows, iOS, Android, and self-hosted environments. Its strongest fit is a retailer that needs POS and back-office operations connected to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another enterprise system.
The platform’s ecosystem is a major consideration. ERP connections include Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Retailers can also synchronize online storefronts through Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Magento, Dynamicweb, and Shopee. Multi-location sales, inventory, pricing, and reporting support centralized oversight, while barcode-based mobile counting, self-checkout, and mobile self-scanning extend operations beyond a traditional staffed till. Retailers with a varied store and ecommerce setup should find this breadth relevant; smaller businesses seeking a narrow checkout tool may find the scope greater than needed.
Pricing is handled through contact with sales rather than published standard plans, and there is no free plan or free trial. That model makes the purchase dependent on the retailer’s requirements and deployment context. On-premises deployment remains documented but is unavailable to new customers starting April 2025, while cloud deployment through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is supported. Choose LS Retail when multi-location control, enterprise integrations, offline POS, and connected retail operations are priorities. Consider an alternative if you need transparent self-serve pricing, a free evaluation, or a simple POS with fewer operational modules.
