LinkedIn Talent Insights is a workforce intelligence product for recruiting, talent acquisition, and human-resources teams. It uses aggregated LinkedIn member and job-post data to examine talent pools, companies, skills, employer brands, labor-market conditions, and workforce movement. Its audience includes teams making hiring strategy, workforce planning, headcount, retention, employer-branding, and talent-sourcing decisions. Reports can cover locations, companies, skills, titles, and functions, while candidate insights and talent-pool recommendations support more focused research.

Pricing follows a contact-sales model. LinkedIn says cost varies by company needs and directs prospects to a product consultant, so the buying process is oriented toward organizational requirements rather than a self-serve subscription. There is no free plan. Buyers should evaluate the scope of reports, workforce analysis, benchmarking, exports, sharing, and the number of license holders needed for their workflow before choosing the product.

The product’s strongest fit is broad external workforce research. Company reports show workforce composition and changes over time; movement, hiring, and departure analysis adds context for competitive planning; and skills taxonomy with machine-learning-based skills inference helps interpret changing capabilities. Reports can be exported to PDF and XLS and shared between license holders. LinkedIn Talent Insights is less suitable for organizations seeking internal mobility workflows, API access, or a free starting tier. Choose it when talent-market visibility and competitive benchmarking are central; consider another product when internal workforce movement or programmatic integration is the priority.
