Our verdict on Lidger
Lidger is a free, web-based goal-management application for individuals handling personal goals, projects, habits, and daily priorities. Its core approach combines OKR-based goal setting with measurable key results, linked tasks, daily check-ins, evening reflections, and progress dashboards. A guided OKR creation wizard helps structure objectives, while key results can use numeric, percentage, or milestone types. The result is a focused workspace for turning goals into trackable actions without adding a paid plan to the workflow.
The strongest part of Lidger is the connection between planning and measurement. Users can link tasks to objectives, review progress through bars and completion percentages, and use dashboards for a broader view of activity. The Eisenhower Matrix adds a practical prioritization layer, while daily check-ins and evening reflections support a recurring review habit. This combination makes Lidger a good fit for people who want OKRs tied closely to everyday work rather than a separate goal log. The guided wizard also gives the product a clearer starting point than a blank goal-setting interface.
Lidger keeps its scope narrow and straightforward: the listed plan is Free, and the listed platform is web. That suits individuals who want a simple browser-based tracker for goals, tasks, and priorities. It is less suitable for anyone who needs mobile access or a broader platform ecosystem. Goal reviews are manual, so users should expect to maintain their review rhythm themselves. Choose Lidger for lightweight personal OKR tracking with prioritization built in; choose an alternative when mobile workflows or wider platform coverage are central requirements.
