Lettuce is a financial operations platform for US-based businesses-of-one, including consultants, creators, freelancers, and other service businesses. It combines real-time bookkeeping, expense categorization, invoicing, banking, contractor payments, payroll, tax withholding, estimated tax payments, business tax filing, and S Corp management. Its managed back-office approach is aimed at owner-operators who want accounting and tax workflows handled together rather than a general-purpose accounting system.

Pricing is organized around Grow, Pro, and Pro + Healthcare. Grow costs $29 per month with monthly billing and includes LLC formation, automated tax withholding, expense management, invoicing, a business bank account and debit card, and unlimited contractor payments. The published annual Grow plan is shown at $83 per month. Pro costs $299 per month with monthly billing or $249 per month with annual billing, adding S Corp election and management, automatic reasonable-salary management, monthly payroll, estimated tax payments, business tax preparation and filing, and audit protection. Pro + Healthcare includes everything in Pro plus group-rate healthcare, a national PPO network, 24/7/365 virtual care, and family coverage options; its annual price is $438 per month.

The main strength is breadth around solo-business administration: Lettuce connects bookkeeping with tax withholding, payments, invoicing, payroll, contractor support, and benefits access. That makes it a focused fit for service-based owner-operators, especially LLC owners considering or managing an S Corp. It is less suitable for businesses that need inventory workflows, accountant access, or a broader accounting platform, and the web-only delivery narrows platform flexibility. Choose Lettuce when reducing the number of separate tax, payroll, banking, and bookkeeping tools matters more than deep general-purpose accounting features.
