LetSentry is web-based property administration software for landlords and property managers in England. It combines Bacs Direct Debit rent collection through GoCardless with tenancy records, rent ledgers, staged arrears reminders, maintenance requests, safety certificate tracking, document signing and tax-oriented exports. The Free plan supports one property and includes certificate tracking, a tenant maintenance portal, Direct Debit collection, and CSV/PDF exports. That makes it a practical fit for landlords who want rent administration and core compliance tools without a subscription at the outset.
Pricing scales by portfolio size and added functionality. Starter costs £9.99 per month for up to five properties and adds AI receipt and certificate scanning, AI maintenance triage and repair estimates, Compliance Copilot, portfolio insights and saved report presets. Professional supports up to 20 properties and adds priority support, while Portfolio covers up to 50 properties with the Professional features. Enterprise supports unlimited properties, removes the per-property cap and includes priority support. A 30-day free trial is also published. The plan structure suits landlords growing from a single property to larger portfolios, although the higher tiers do not show additional pricing here.
The payment workflow is focused on bank-based collection: GoCardless processes Direct Debit payments and sends collected funds to the landlord’s nominated bank account, while GoCardless transaction fees apply. LetSentry does not add a rent-collection fee. The software also supports one-off Instant Bank Pay and manual ledger entries for standing orders or cash, alongside maintenance and compliance administration. Choose LetSentry if free access, Direct Debit, property records and exportable administration are the priority. Consider an alternative if card payments, a non-web platform or a broader integration ecosystem is essential.
