LegalSphere is an all-in-one legal practice management ecosystem for South African law firms, sole practitioners, multi-office firms, in-house legal teams, and paralegals. It brings together matter and case management, client intake, court diaries, deadlines, workflow automation, time tracking, billing, document automation, AI-assisted drafting, electronic signatures, and client portals. Its regional focus is central: the product includes LPC Rule 54 trust accounting, FICA client verification, POPIA workflows, local legal templates, courts, and tariffs.
Pricing is structured across three monthly plans. Essential costs ZAR 299 per user per month and includes core case, client, calendar, document, time-tracking, invoicing, trust-accounting, FICA, template, and AI receipt features. Professional costs ZAR 599 per user per month and adds RMCP risk assessments, FIC goAML reports, an LPC audit readiness pack, an auditor portal, conveyancing, estates and wills workbenches, Bill of Costs with Gazette tariffs, VAT201, payroll tools, and Client portal v2. Enterprise costs ZAR 999 per user per month and adds Microsoft Entra SSO, public API access, unlimited users, dedicated onboarding, and priority phone support with a written SLA. A 14-day free trial is available.
Platform coverage includes web, iOS, Android, and API access. Integrations include Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, accounting software, Outlook, Paystack, and WhatsApp Business, giving firms several routes for communication, productivity, and payments. LegalSphere is a strong fit for South African practices that need local compliance and trust-accounting workflows alongside everyday matter management. Firms outside that regional context, or teams needing Enterprise controls without the Enterprise price, should consider whether the tier structure matches their requirements.
