LegalPrime is a cloud-based legal practice management platform for Indian law firms, ranging from solo advocates to larger multi-branch practices. It combines case and matter management with client intake, lead qualification, quotations, billing, invoicing, expenses, document storage, court workflows, finance, HR, attendance, leave, payroll and reporting. Role-based permissions, multi-factor authentication, branch management and audit logs support firms that need structured internal controls rather than a tool focused only on case tracking.

Pricing is organized around four plan levels. Solo Advocate costs INR 2,083 per firm per month or INR 25,000 per firm per year and includes case management, client management, document storage, client-wise outstanding and 2FA security. Essential costs INR 6,250 monthly or INR 75,000 yearly, adding a business website CMS, attendance management and biometric/punch integration. Professional costs INR 10,417 monthly and adds advanced document categories and audit logs to the listed Essential capabilities. Enterprise costs INR 20,833 monthly and adds branch-wise access control. A 14-day trial is available, but there is no free plan.

The main strength is breadth: LegalPrime can connect front-office legal work with finance, reconciliation, HR and payroll, while integrations cover Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, Dropbox, Razorpay, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, Biomax, ChatGPT and Claude AI. Court synchronization and hearing reminders are particularly relevant to firms managing active matters. The trade-off is that access is web-based, and the product is a less complete choice for practices prioritizing mobile workflows or a verified client portal. Firms wanting one system for broad administrative control should consider LegalPrime; firms seeking a narrower, client-facing experience may prefer an alternative.

LegalPrime pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Covers cases, intake, billing, documents, finance, HR and payroll

    • Adds permissions, branches, audit logs and payment integrations
  • Where it doesn't
    • Web access limits the platform experience to browser-based workflows
    • Client collaboration is less complete without a verified client portal
    • There is no free plan after the 14-day trial
