A focused marketing reporting tool with normalization, dashboards, and a free plan.

LayerFive Axis brings advertising, analytics, Shopify, and other marketing data together for cross-channel reporting. It is aimed at marketing teams at Shopify businesses, agencies, and SaaS companies that need normalized data, custom dashboards, and scheduled reports rather than a broad data warehouse pipeline. The cloud product is available on web and through an API, and its free plan includes custom reports and dashboards, data-source integrations, AI insights, and task generation.
The published plans show Free at $0 per month and Pro at a displayed $29 per month, billed monthly. Pro adds custom metrics and dimensions and unlimited users, alongside reports, dashboards, and ad and non-ad source integrations. A 14-day free trial is also offered without a required card. Pricing deserves a check before purchase: the vendor's pricing notes describe the displayed Pro price as tied to $100 GMV, while a separate FAQ says Axis starts at $49 per month and cites a Tier 1 annual price of $588 or $59 monthly. For a small team, the free tier is a way to assess the reporting fit; teams planning around Pro should confirm the applicable price directly.
Axis's strongest fit is data shaping for marketing analysis: automatic normalization, custom calculated fields, data validation, and business-rule automation support consistent views across sources. Reports can be scheduled by email and Slack, and role-based access and dashboard sharing help distribute results. Its connector set includes Shopify, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Slack, with 50 integrations overall and near-real-time refresh. But the category listing identifies five data sources for paid tiers, and Axis has no documented warehouse destination. Teams needing a wider pipeline into a warehouse should look elsewhere; teams whose priority is normalized marketing dashboards and reporting may find its narrower focus appropriate. Advanced attribution and identity resolution are separate LayerFive Signal features.
