LastPass is a password and identity management service for individuals, families, teams, and businesses. Its encrypted vaults can store passwords, notes, files, payment cards, and passkeys, while password saving, autofill, generation, secure sharing, and multifactor authentication cover everyday credential management. The service also includes passwordless vault login, dark web monitoring, and a security dashboard with password health scoring. It suits households and established password-manager users that want both personal vault features and a path to team administration.

The published plans span individual, family, and business needs. Free includes unlimited password storage, autofill, dark web monitoring, basic password sharing, and access limited to one device type. Premium adds access on all devices alongside unlimited passwords, saving, and autofill. Families supports up to six users with independent encrypted vaults and secure password sharing. Teams adds an admin console, shared folders, and security policies. Business expands administration with more than 100 security policies, group user management, and LastPass Families for employees. Business Max adds SaaS Monitoring, SaaS Protect, unlimited SSO apps, and advanced MFA capabilities. A 30-day trial is also available.

Platform coverage is broad: LastPass is available on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and through a Chrome extension. That range supports mixed-device households and organizations, while shared folders, policy administration, multifactor authentication, and single sign-on support business deployment. The trade-off is a tiered experience: one device type limits the Free plan, basic sharing is not equivalent to the family and business sharing features, and centralized controls sit in the business tiers. Choose LastPass for flexible coverage, passkeys, sharing, and a progression from individual use to administration; consider another option if unrestricted free multi-device access or a simpler plan structure is the priority.
