Kreo BIM Takeoff is cloud-based construction takeoff and estimating software for quantity surveyors, estimators, contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners. It combines 2D drawing takeoff with AI-assisted measurement and counting, 3D BIM model viewing, quantity takeoff, model checking, issue reporting, reusable assemblies, collaboration, and exports. Teams can upload construction drawings and BIM models, organize measurements, create reports, and share project work through comments, annotations, and permissions.
The plan structure scales from core takeoff to automation and enterprise controls. Lite costs $35 per user per month when billed annually and includes comments and markups, AI scale recognition, PDF, CAD, and image support, unlimited projects and storage, and a 3D view. Plus costs $70 per user per month annually and adds project templates, an assemblies database, reports, Excel import/export, and measurement group templates. Pro costs $175 per user per month annually and adds Auto Measure, One-Click Area, Auto Count, AI drawing features, and API access available through sales. Enterprise adds database import/export, data migration, advanced permissions, full API and integrations, and a dedicated success manager. A seven-day trial is available.
Its main strength is breadth across mixed drawing and BIM workflows. Supported formats include PDF, DWG, DXF, DWF, PNG, JPG, TIFF, IFC, RVT, and BIM, while exports include PDF, Excel, CSV, and IFC. Excel, Contractor Foreman, and REST API connections can extend the workflow, with full API and integrations reserved for Enterprise. Kreo suits teams that need one cloud workspace for 2D and 3D takeoff, reusable assemblies, reporting, and collaboration. Teams seeking a free plan, or API access without a sales process on Pro, should consider those constraints before choosing it.
