Kittysplit is a web, iOS and Android tool for recording shared expenses, transfers and incoming money, then calculating who owes whom. It suits trips, parties, shared households and other situations where several people need to divide costs without building a full personal-finance system. Groups can split expenses equally, by shares, percentages or fixed amounts, and participants can join through private links without registering. The free plan supports groups of up to nine people.

Pricing is straightforward. Kitty Free forever includes unlimited expenses, comments and categories, settlement calculation, and no sign-up requirement. Super Kitty costs a one-time €3 per group rather than a recurring subscription. It raises the group limit to 100 people and adds multiple currencies with conversion, default shares, grouped participants, receipt and photo attachments, category spending insights, and read-only links. Expenses, calculations and balances can also be exported as XLSX, making the product more useful when a group wants a portable record of its activity.

Kittysplit’s strongest fit is focused expense coordination rather than broad financial management. Its fewest-transactions settlement calculation, private sharing, flexible split rules and mobile availability address the practical friction of group spending. The SWOP currency API supports the currency-conversion feature on upgraded Kitties. Choose Kittysplit when the goal is to settle shared costs quickly and cheaply, especially across larger groups or multiple currencies. Choose an alternative when you need personal budgeting, bill management, net-worth tracking or connected financial accounts.
