A broad AI workspace for multimodal research, file work, and autonomous tasks.

Kimi is an AI assistant and agentic workspace from Moonshot AI for people who need more than conversational Q&A. It combines real-time web search, webpage access, multimodal chat, file processing, image generation, document and spreadsheet work, presentation creation, coding, and autonomous task execution. Its file support covers PDF, Word, Excel, PPT, images, TXT, and video. Researchers, knowledge workers, developers, and users managing varied content across devices are the clearest fit.
Kimi’s breadth is its main strength. Deep Research supports long-form research workflows, while persistent projects keep files, chats, and instructions together. The desktop agent adds local file access and browser automation, and memory can retain user preferences. Creative design plugins support image generation, and website, document, spreadsheet, and presentation generation extend the product beyond chat. Integrations include Notion, GitHub, Canva, Cloudflare, Supabase, WPS, Feishu, DingTalk, and Baidu Netdisk. With web, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chrome extension, and API access, Kimi can fit mixed personal and development workflows.
The freemium model makes the product accessible, with a free plan and paid plans named Andante, Moderato, Allegretto, and Allegro. Paid plan highlights vary: Andante includes Kimi Code access and featured plugins; Moderato adds Agent multitasking and Agent Swarm; Allegretto adds Goal Mode and a dedicated Kimi Claw; Allegro adds million-token conversations and Agent Swarm. Kimi Business is a separate annual enterprise offering with workspaces, member management, collaboration, and personal-versus-enterprise data separation. Choose Kimi for broad multimodal research and agent workflows; choose an alternative if you need a narrowly focused chatbot or a simpler plan structure.
