Kanji Study is an Android app for learners building Japanese kanji and kana knowledge, with particular depth for kanji literacy. Flashcards present readings, meanings, examples and stroke animations, while configurable multiple-choice quizzes provide another way to review. Learners can follow JLPT or Japanese school-grade sequences, or search across more than 6,000 kanji and 180,000 words. The free version covers beginner kanji, radicals, hiragana and katakana, and includes dictionary and information screens without ads.
Writing practice is a central strength: stroke-order challenges include accuracy detection, making the app more than a reference dictionary or flashcard deck.
