Kahua is an enterprise construction project management platform for owners, program managers, general contractors, specialty contractors, and other delivery teams. It brings portfolio and capital program management together with budgets, commitments, changes, costs, contracts, procurement, schedules, documents, field activity, reporting, and asset information. The platform is aimed at complex, multi-project capital programs where teams need shared visibility across the construction lifecycle. Support for external participants, role-based access, configurable apps, analytics, and construction-focused AI extends its use beyond basic task management.
Kahua’s plan structure is organized by construction role. Owners and Program Managers receive portfolio and capital program management in a configurable enterprise solution. General Contractors get project delivery management with cost and performance visibility. Specialty Contractors receive project, field, service, and cost workflows with support for multiple jobs. According to the vendor’s pricing model, access is arranged through contact with sales rather than published numeric plan prices. The feature set covers budget, commitment, change, and cost management; bid, contract, and procurement workflows; Gantt-based schedules and milestones; document, RFI, submittal, and approval workflows; and analytics with portfolio dashboards.
Platform fit is a major consideration. Kahua supports web, Windows, iOS, Android, and API access, with named integrations for Alfresco, Bluebeam, CMiC, DocuSign, IBM Maximo, Nuvolo, Oracle JD Edwards, Oracle Primavera P6, Sage, SAP, Trimble Viewpoint, and Workday. Field teams can use daily reports, photos, and reality capture, while asset data, commissioning, closeout, and handover support later lifecycle work. Choose Kahua if your organization needs configurable control across capital programs and multiple delivery teams. Smaller teams seeking a simpler project tracker, or buyers requiring clearly published pricing or identified time tracking, should consider alternatives.
