K8 ERP review
A manufacturing-focused ERP with strong planning and production controls, sold through contact sales.

K8 ERP is Kerridge Commercial Systems’ cloud ERP suite for distributive-trade and manufacturing businesses. Its K8 MFR variant targets manufacturers that need structured bills of materials, engineering change control, material requirements planning and production execution. K8 LV adds manufacturing-oriented capabilities such as demand planning, production schedules, inventory and warehouse management, financials and analytics. The strongest fit is for small, mid-market or enterprise manufacturers operating make-to-contract workflows and multistage assemblies.
K8 uses a contact-sales pricing model rather than a free plan. That approach suits organisations expecting a configured ERP engagement, but it makes the buying process less suitable for teams that need immediate self-service pricing or a lightweight trial. The product’s manufacturing scope is substantial: users can define methods, routes and operations; roll material and labour costs from subassemblies to finished products; process work orders; and generate work and purchase orders automatically. Rough-cut capacity planning and machine calendar management add planning control, while MRP what-if analysis supports scenario review before committing requirements.
Deployment is cloud-based with web access, and the product materials also reference smart-device apps. Named integrations include EasyAP, Phocas and Vecta, providing a defined but focused ecosystem for connected finance, analytics or operational workflows. Choose K8 when engineering change control, multilevel planning, production routes and make-to-contract execution are central to the operation. Consider another ERP when native desktop deployment, a broader documented integration catalogue or transparent, self-directed purchasing is a priority.
