JUST PDF 6 is Windows desktop software for creating and editing PDFs and converting PDFs or image files into editable document formats. Its OCR-based Data Conversion component supports batches and lets users review and adjust recognized text, table and image regions before conversion. The product is aimed at Windows users who regularly process scanned documents, particularly in Japanese-language Windows environments. It is less suitable for users on other operating systems or those seeking a free entry point.
Conversion is its clearest strength: source files can include PDF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, PNG and GIF, with exports to Ichitaro, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, JPEG and BMP. Creation options include the dedicated app, print function, Office add-in and file context menu. Ichitaro and Microsoft Office compatibility, including Microsoft 365, gives it a defined fit for those document workflows. It also supports merging PDFs and rearranging or inserting pages. There is no API access, so it is a desktop choice rather than a fit for automated conversion pipelines.
The standard JUST PDF 6 plan covers PDF creation, PDF editing and data conversion; JUST PDF 6 Pro includes creation, conversion and advanced PDF editing, including PDF text and image editing. According to the vendor's consumer pricing information, individual editions are one-time purchases; the listed starting price is ¥6,200, excluding tax. Business licenses are open price, and individual customers do not receive a free trial. Choose the standard edition when OCR conversion and core PDF tasks are the priority, or Pro when direct text and image editing is needed. Consider another tool if you need non-Windows support, API access or a free trial.
