Just Captions is an AI video-captioning app for creators, marketers, podcasters, educators, and other short-form video publishers. It transcribes speech automatically, synchronizes captions word by word, and supports more than 50 spoken languages, with translation into 33 languages. The workflow is available on iPhone and through a browser-based captioning tool for desktop users, making it suited to publishers who want captioned video output without relying on a continuous connection.
Its strongest distinction is local processing. Just Captions can generate captions on-device and offline, while inline editing, AI correction, a custom dictionary, and word-level timing support more controlled results for names, brands, and slang. Batch processing handles up to 20 videos, which fits creators and teams working through multiple short clips. Four caption style presets are available, and the product can export videos with captions burned in. The Free plan supports single and batch captioning and on-device generation, but adds a Just Captions watermark. Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly remove watermarks, add animated caption styles and higher export quality, and include 600 AI caption minutes per month. The product is therefore most suitable for users who value offline processing, translation, batch work, and burned-in captions.
