Jobber is field service management software for home and commercial service businesses, with tools that fit HVAC contractors handling quoting, scheduling, routing, customer communication, invoicing, payments, and recurring service visits. It supports solo operators and multi-crew teams through web, iOS, and Android apps. Technicians can view assignments, track time, manage job details, create invoices, and collect payments in the field. Clients can use Client Hub to approve quotes, view appointments, request work, and pay invoices.
Pricing starts with Core at $29 per month when billed annually, including online booking and scheduling, quotes and invoices, online payments, a website builder, reporting, and 1 user. Connect costs $99 per month annually and adds reminders, automatic payment collection, job checklists, follow-ups, QuickBooks Online sync, and time and expense tracking. Grow costs $149 per month annually, adding advanced quote customization, automatic time tracking, job costing, two-way SMS, and workflow automations. Plus costs $399 per month annually, with centralized job files, teammate mentions, automated job costing, a sales pipeline, Marketing Suite, and AI Receptionist. A 14-day trial includes full Grow-plan access.
Jobber’s ecosystem covers QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zapier, Gusto, Home Depot, Google Calendar, and an App Marketplace. Its field feature set is broad for a small HVAC operation, including map-based routing, GPS tracking, photos, attachments, checklists, recurring jobs, and online, in-person, and automatic payments. The main trade-off is field connectivity: offline timers are supported, but core app workflows generally do not support offline use. Core also begins with 1 user, so operators with multiple technicians may need a higher plan. Solo HVAC businesses that want scheduling, routing, customer payments, and recurring work in one system should consider Jobber; teams requiring broad offline workflows should look elsewhere.
