iVend Retail review
A broad retail POS suite for SAP-connected, multi-store enterprises.

iVend Retail is cloud-based retail management software for retailers running stores and omnichannel sales channels. CitiXsys combines point-of-sale transaction processing with inventory management, stock transfers, reporting, promotions, loyalty, mobile POS and centralized multi-store management. It is designed for growing and enterprise retailers in areas such as apparel, electronics, pharmacy, supermarkets and specialty retail, with deployment options spanning cloud, self-hosted, desktop and mobile environments.
Its strongest differentiator is ecosystem fit. iVend Retail integrates with SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA and SAP IS-Retail, as well as Sage X3, Sage 300 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Commerce connections include Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce, while open APIs support additional integration work. This makes the product a practical candidate for organizations that need POS operations connected to existing ERP and eCommerce systems rather than a standalone checkout tool. Employee and user rights, POS security rights, enterprise-wide data replication and real-time inventory visibility add support for centralized retail operations.
iVend Retail’s breadth is useful when a retailer needs one platform covering store transactions, offline processing, inventory, analytics, loyalty and mobile selling. The published plans distinguish cloud management-console access from iVend POS or iVend Mobile POS licensing, and the product is paid rather than free. Retailers should therefore evaluate the required mix of console, POS and mobile licenses alongside their ERP, commerce and store structure. Choose iVend Retail for multi-store or enterprise retail environments with established business systems; a simpler single-store operation may prefer a narrower POS product with fewer integration and administration requirements.
