Iru Access review
A security-focused workforce identity product with strong policy controls and limited platform coverage.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Iru Access is a passwordless workforce identity and access product for IT and security teams. It provides workplace application sign-on through device-bound passkeys, phishing-resistant authentication, and one-step multifactor authentication. Device security posture checks and contextual signals can inform access policies at login, while SCIM supports user lifecycle management. Its focus suits organizations prioritizing device-aware workforce authentication and centralized access administration.
The security and administration feature set is the main strength. Iru Access supports SAML and OIDC applications, automatic group management based on user attributes, role and attribute synchronization, application provisioning, and trusted authenticator lineage. GitOps-style configuration versioning and rollback add a way to manage auditable configuration changes. Integrations include Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta Device Trust, Active Directory Certificate Services, Workday, and BambooHR, giving the product a useful fit with identity, device, HR, and directory workflows.
The commercial model is geared toward organizations ready for a sales-led purchase: there is no free plan, pricing is quote-based, and contracts are annual commitments billed annually. A 14-day free trial is available. Platform coverage includes web, macOS, and API, with the desktop authenticator listed for macOS 15.0. Teams seeking device-bound passkeys, SSO, lifecycle automation, and posture-aware policies should consider Iru Access; organizations needing broader platform coverage or a self-serve free tier should look elsewhere.
