Iridient Developer is a macOS desktop application for RAW conversion and early-stage photo editing. It is aimed at photographers who want precise control over image processing, especially solo users and small teams working on Mac. It handles supported camera RAW formats as well as common image and HDR formats, with adjustments for exposure, white balance, tone curves, brightness, contrast and saturation. The vendor says it supports RAW files from more than 800 camera models. It is designed to complement photo-management software rather than organize a library itself.

Its processing tools cover much of the work between importing a RAW file and preparing an output image. Users can apply sharpening, noise reduction, hot/dead pixel filtering, chromatic aberration and distortion correction, along with monochrome conversion and toning. Color management supports camera, working-space and output profiles; resizing and high-bit-depth processing are also available. Batch conversion and flexible file naming are useful when processing multiple images, while listed export formats include JPEG, TIFF, PNG, JPEG2000, OpenEXR and Radiance. This makes the application a fit for photographers prioritizing conversion control and output options over an all-in-one photo workflow.

Pricing is a one-time USD 119.99 for the perpetual license, with at least 18 months of free upgrades; applicable taxes may also apply. The demo is fully functional without a time or usage limit, but exported images carry watermarks, so it is not an unrestricted free plan. The trade-off is a narrow platform and workflow focus: Iridient Developer runs on macOS and has no cataloging, AI or cloud features. Choose it if detailed RAW processing and batch export are the priority; look elsewhere if you need built-in catalog organization, AI tools, cloud workflows or support beyond macOS.
