Inventoros is a self-hosted, open-source inventory and warehouse management platform for retailers, warehouses, manufacturers, multi-channel sellers, schools, labs, and nonprofits. It covers products, variants, SKUs, batches, serial numbers, categories, locations, stock transfers, purchasing, customer orders, returns, suppliers, reporting, and reorder points. The product is particularly suited to technical teams that want control over the infrastructure and the ability to extend the system through code.

The published Core plan is free forever, open source, and MIT licensed. It includes every inventory feature without tiers, unlimited users, no per-seat fees, and no usage limits. The plan also includes REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and an MCP server. Operational coverage is broad: purchase order lifecycles include receiving, customer orders support approval workflows, and inventory tools include barcode generation, camera scanning, low-stock alerts, automated reorder points, valuation, stock movement, sales, and category reports. Role permissions, two-factor authentication, backups, and audit logs add administrative controls, while the plugin architecture can extend the UI and backend.

Inventoros fits environments that need web access, self-hosting, and API connectivity, with integrations for Shopify, QuickBooks, and ShipStation. Its open architecture is a strong match for teams that need custom workflows or connections beyond those integrations. The tradeoff is operational ownership: the customer manages the infrastructure, while marketplace plugins and support services are separate from the free Core software. There are no current official mobile apps, so teams that require a dedicated mobile experience should consider an alternative. Choose Inventoros for broad inventory, purchasing, sales, supplier, reporting, and audit capabilities at open-source cost; avoid it when managed hosting or mobile apps are essential.
