Our verdict on instax UP!

instax UP! is a free mobile app from FUJIFILM Corporation for digitizing instax mini, SQUARE, and WIDE prints. It is designed for instax users on iOS and Android smartphones and compatible tablets who want to scan physical prints, organize them digitally, and share them through social and messaging services. AI-assisted scanning can work from different backgrounds and angles, while glare reduction helps address reflected light during capture.

The app’s strongest area is its focused scanning and correction workflow. Users can adjust contrast, brightness, saturation, and warmth, then manually adjust photo corners to correct distortion. That makes instax UP! more than a basic capture tool for users who want cleaner digital versions of their prints. Its scope remains intentionally narrow: it is built around instax mini, SQUARE, and WIDE formats rather than broad photo-scanning needs.

Organization and instax ecosystem fit are the other major strengths.
