Our verdict on InPronunci
InPronunci is an American pronunciation and accent-training app for intermediate and advanced English learners, professionals, students, and public speakers. Its lessons focus on speaking clarity through American consonant and vowel training, plus intonation, rhythm, stress, and connected speech. The product is available on web, iOS, and Android, combining guided instructions from Prof. Alex with structured practice and evaluation modes.
Its strongest area is visual and targeted pronunciation work. Interactive 2D Sound Video Simulators support sound-focused learning, while the AI Accent Coach provides pronunciation feedback at the sentence level. Learners can compare coach and learner recordings, which gives the practice flow a clear reference point. The product also separates Practice Mode from Evaluation and Feedback Mode, making it suitable for learners who want guided repetition followed by assessment. In-app chat and Premium one-on-one coaching extend the support options beyond automated feedback.
InPronunci is a narrow-fit choice for people specifically working on American English pronunciation rather than a broad conversational language app. The published offering includes a Free Chapter, Basic, and Premium, with free access available alongside paid options. Its platform coverage suits learners moving between desktop course access and mobile practice. Choose it for structured sound training, visual explanations, and feedback on recorded sentences. Learners seeking AI conversation practice or instruction across several target accents should choose a different type of language-learning product.

InPronunci: Accent Training App is a complete American accent training system created by Prof. Alex, Ph.D. Accent Coach, Doctor of Education, and professional linguist, based in Austin, Texas. InPronunci helps non-native English speakers train American pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, and connected speech so they speak clearly and confidently at work and in everyday life.
InPronunci uses 2D Sound Motion Technology with Interactive 2D Sound Video Simulators that help students develop and train American sound articulation through speech organ simulation and correct positioning (tongue, lips, jaw, teeth, airflow, and voice) with full articulation details, instead of relying on hand gestures, watching videos of a coach's mouth, or pictures that do not reveal full articulation details.
Every lesson includes Pronunci Instructions from Prof. Alex, native-model comparison (Your Coach and My Pronunci), and AI Accent Coach evaluation as you speak. With the Premium plan, Prof. Alex personally teaches you in 1-on-1 accent training sessions through the app.
Built for intermediate and advanced English speakers: professionals, engineers, doctors, IT specialists, business leaders, and international students. Start free with Chapter 1: Speech Organs Education.

the best American Accent Training App
I'm a Tamil speaker and a US professional, and I've lived in the US for a while. I consider myself an advanced English speaker: my grammar is great, and I have no problems with vocabulary at all. But speaking English was always a struggle for me. Honestly, it got to the point where I just stayed home and avoided meeting people. My voice sounded like Mickey Mouse, and I really wanted to sound confident and professional. I tried BoldVoice, ELSA and a few accent coaches, but nothing really worked for me. Then I found Professor Alex and InPronunci, and for me, that combo was what finally worked. It's also very affordable. My before and after recordings are on Professor Alex's website if you want to hear the difference. What I liked most about InPronunci is how structured it is, and it turned out to be the most effective app I tried, because I was actually able to change. I think that's because it's structured so professionally! You start with the sounds and then work your way up through phonetic exercises and speaking drills, all the way to public speaking. The Pronunci Instructions sound just like Professor Alex, so it feels like he's guiding you even when you practice alone. Compared with BoldVoice, hand gestures or pictures, the 2D Simulators were by far the most effective way for me to practice American sound articulation. With them, I could finally make the sounds the American way. In our 1-on-1 sessions, Professor Alex went through everything with me and fixed what I'd missed while practicing on my own. After each session, I knew exactly what to focus on, and that gave me the confidence to keep practicing the right way. Sometimes one session a month wasn't enough, so I booked extra ones here and there. It's been two years since I finished, and I actually speak even better now. My brain just got used to American English, which is exactly what Professor Alex said would happen. If you're thinking about it, trust him. He's the most professional accent coach I've worked with, and for me the best for American accent training. For anyone curious: I had AI compare my first and final recordings, and my score went from 62/100 to 84/100, a 22-point jump. Thank you , Alex for the best app and the work you did on my speech!
Pros- Pronunci Instructions work like a real accent coach, guiding me step by step in every lesson.
- The 2D sound simulators show exactly how each American sound is made, so I can fix my articulation.
- Premium chat with Prof. Alex, a real person who supports me throughout my accent training.
- The AI Accent Coach checks my intonation, rhythm, and connected speech, not just single words.
- Lessons follow a clear structure, from sounds to sentences to paragraphs, so I always know what to practice.
Cons- No AI chatting, but I think it's not needed at all.
