Our verdict on IKEA Indonesia
IKEA Indonesia is a home-goods retailer with a website and iOS and Android apps for browsing and buying furniture, furnishings and household products. Its catalog spans bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, dining, workspaces, bathrooms, children’s products, outdoor, laundry, textiles, lighting and accessories. Shoppers can browse by room or category, use mobile-app sorting and filters, view product and stock information, and scan barcodes for product details. It suits people furnishing or updating a home who want to shop online and choose delivery or collection; it is not a subscription software product.
Delivery and collection options are central to the offer. Parcel delivery is listed for all Indonesia and is intended for small items. Larger, heavier items can use truck delivery in Jabodetabek, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Solo, Malang, Yogyakarta, Makassar and Bali, subject to a 60 km limit from an IKEA store or pick-up point. Online orders can also be collected at stores or pick-up points. Eligible items can be returned by store, parcel or pick-up point under a conditional 90-day return policy.
