IINACT is an open-source Dalamud plugin for Final Fantasy XIV that parses game data and exposes it through a WebSocket server. It is aimed at players and overlay builders who want ACT-compatible tooling rather than a standalone damage-meter interface. The plugin supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, and its free plan makes the parser available without a paid tier. It writes combat logs to the user's Documents/IINACT directory and can produce logs compatible with FFLogs and its uploader.

Its strongest fit is as infrastructure for an overlay and logging ecosystem. IINACT supports FFXIV_ACT_Plugin and OverlayPlugin-compatible tooling, ACT-compatible browser overlays, and integrations including Kagerou, MopiMopi, Ember Overlay, Cactbot, and FFLogs. The /iinact chat command can generate overlay URLs, while the WebSocket server exposes parsed data to compatible applications. Automatic updates are available when IINACT is installed through the plugin repository, reducing maintenance for that installation path.

The central limitation is scope: IINACT parses and serves combat data but does not render overlays itself. Users therefore need a compatible overlay application such as Browsingway, BunnyHUD, or HUDKit to create the visual interface. The published product details also do not enumerate combat metrics, replay analysis, or session-history features. Choose IINACT if you need an open-source FFXIV parser that connects to ACT-compatible overlays, logs, and FFLogs. Choose an alternative if you want a self-contained damage meter with built-in rendering or documented analysis features.
