Idle is a Singapore-built salon and spa management platform for businesses that need bookings, scheduling, point-of-sale, client records and staff operations in one system. It is suited to beauty and wellness businesses ranging from solo studios to multi-location operators. For payroll-focused teams, its feature set includes staff commission calculation by service and sale type, timesheets, attendance, shifts, leave tracking and payroll reports. Online booking, deposits, approvals, POS checkout, Stripe payments and WhatsApp booking tools extend the platform beyond payroll administration.
Pricing is structured by store. The Starter plan is listed at S$18 per store per month or S$180 per store per year, with bookings and calendar, WhatsApp Agent, POS checkout, staff calendar and team, multi-store management, and growth overview and marketing. Starter is marked as coming soon. Grow is listed at S$99 per store per month or S$1,068 per store per year and adds payroll, timesheets and leave, inventory, packages and memberships, loyalty tools, roles and permissions, analytics and reporting, and data migration up to 300 rows. Grow is the plan available to begin today. A seven-day free trial is offered, while Custom includes everything in Grow, custom features, accounting, e-commerce and API integrations, and full data migration.
Idle’s ecosystem fit is a notable strength for salons operating across booking, payments, messaging and marketing channels. Integrations include Stripe, PayNow, PayLah, GrabPay, Stripe Link, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook, Google Calendar, ClassPass, Xero, Mailchimp and Klaviyo. Web and API access support its cloud-based operating model, while role-based permissions and multi-store management are relevant for growing teams. Choose Idle if commission tracking, time records and broader salon operations belong in one platform. Consider another option if a mature operating history or a payroll-first product is the priority.
