Hypermemory is a hosted persistent knowledge-graph memory system for AI agents. It stores facts, decisions, preferences, files and relationships as nodes, edges and hyperedges, then supports semantic, hybrid and graph-traversal recall across conversations. Separate graphs, timelines, searchable document ingestion, exports and scoped sharing support multi-project and team workflows. It fits solo builders, small teams, mid-market groups and enterprises using cloud or desktop access.

The published monthly plans scale by graph count and support. Free provides one memory graph, community support and a basic graph visualizer. Basic costs $12 per month and keeps one graph while adding priority support and all MCP tools. Pro costs $20 per month, adds four graphs plus file upload and storage, and includes priority support and all MCP tools. Business costs $50 per month, expands to 20 graphs and adds advanced analytics, file upload and storage, priority support and all MCP tools. Enterprise provides unlimited graphs, custom query and node limits, SSO/SAML, dedicated support and SLA guarantees.

Hypermemory’s standout capability is its combination of graph structure and search methods: BM25, vector similarity, regex, traversal, relationship discovery and point-in-time timeline views can be used together. Agents connect through an MCP server, REST API, TypeScript SDK or the hm CLI, with integrations for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, CrewAI, n8n, OpenClaw and other MCP-compatible clients. Choose it when cross-tool memory, graph relationships and document recall matter. Consider an alternative if a single simple memory store is enough or if your work does not need graph management and multiple access paths.

Hypermemory pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Hypergraphs combine nodes, edges and multi-way relationships.
    • Semantic, BM25, vector and regex search support varied recall needs.
    • MCP, REST, CLI and integrations connect memory across agent tools.
  • Where it doesn't
    • The Free plan allows only one memory graph.
    • Basic includes one graph, so multiple projects require a higher tier.
    • Advanced analytics and 20 graphs begin at the $50 monthly Business plan.
