Hyper3D Rodin review
A broad 3D generation platform with strong integrations, exports, and API workflows.

Hyper3D Rodin generates textured 3D models from written prompts, reference images, and sketches. It is aimed at creators, game and engine teams, product visualization projects, AR/VR work, 3D printing, and design workflows. Creation runs in the browser, while API users can submit asynchronous tasks, poll their status, and download results. Asset refinement includes geometry and material redo workflows, with AI-generated textures and PBR materials available across the product's broader feature set.
The published plans show a freemium structure. Free supports basic image-to-3D and text-to-3D exploration, 10 private assets, public gallery publishing, and pay-by-result generation. Creator costs $30 per month with monthly billing or $24 per month with annual billing, adding multi-image generation, Smart Low-Poly, HD and custom textures, unlimited private assets, and unlimited export and any use. Business costs $120 monthly or $96 with annual billing and adds full API access, high-resolution textures, High-Poly Quads, unlimited private assets, and listed throughput of 120 RPM on the first three tiers and 240 RPM on higher tiers. Enterprise adds team-grade administration, private on-premise deployment, custom LoRA and fine-tuning, volume discounts, and AI+Artist production support.
Rodin fits teams that need several input modes and a path from experimentation to production delivery. Its integrations span Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Maya, Godot, Omniverse, and ComfyUI, while exports include GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL, USDZ, glTF, 3MF, and DXF. Choose it when broad tool compatibility, asset refinement, and programmatic task handling matter. A simpler image-to-3D tool may be a better choice for users who need only basic generation without multi-format workflows, integrations, or API requirements.
