Our verdict on Hypatos

Hypatos provides AI-agent-based automation for accounts payable and related finance operations. It is designed for organizations managing high-volume, complex document workflows, including multi-entity environments. The product captures invoices from email, scans, e-invoices and APIs, then classifies and splits documents, extracts and validates data, enriches master data, matches purchase-order lines, predicts accounting codes, routes approvals and exceptions, and returns processed documents to connected enterprise systems.

The published Invoice Processing plan starts at €0.25 per completed transaction. Pricing is based on the skills applied to each document, so the transaction model connects cost to the processing work performed. Hypatos does not present a free plan, and the pricing page also directs buyers to obtain a detailed quote. This structure may suit AP teams that prefer usage-linked pricing for invoice workflows, while organizations seeking publicly listed subscription tiers may prefer a product with more conventional package pricing.

Hypatos supports web and API access and connects with SAP, Coupa, Workday, xSuite, Boomi and n8n. Its workflow coverage extends beyond capture and extraction to duplicate detection, GL account and cost-center coding, tax compliance validation, configurable approval routing and ERP posting through connectors and APIs.
