Hootsuite is a paid social media management platform for marketers, customer-care teams, agencies, and organizations managing multiple social profiles. It brings publishing, scheduling, content creation, inbox management, monitoring, listening, analytics, competitive benchmarking, collaboration, and approvals into one system. Web, iOS, and Android access support teams working across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile.
The published plans show a clear progression in price and team capability. Standard costs $99 per user per month with annual billing and supports up to 10 social media accounts, unlimited scheduled social posts, AI-assisted posts and images, one inbox, and brand and competitor monitoring. Professional costs $199 per user per month and adds unlimited social accounts, automated inbox replies and workflows, social trend forecasting up to 90 days ahead, and custom performance reports. Advanced costs $399 per user per month, adding team content approvals, message assignment and auto-routing, customer-care coordination, and team performance measurement. Enterprise has custom pricing and includes advanced analytics, advanced listening, single sign-on, and custom compliance solutions.
Its network coverage and feature range suit organizations that need more than basic scheduling. Social listening, sentiment analysis, trend detection, competitive benchmarking, content calendars, bulk scheduling, and a unified inbox address publishing, engagement, and monitoring in one product. Integrations include Salesforce, Monday.com, and Wrike, extending its fit for customer-care and work-management processes. Hootsuite is a strong choice for large teams that need mature workflows across many networks and can absorb per-user pricing. Smaller teams or buyers seeking a free or lower-cost entry point should consider a narrower tool instead.
